Field Service Technician (ENG)

Our client is an international specialist in turnkey solutions for the food processing industry. The company develops innovative machines and systems that enable customers to produce efficiently while meeting high quality and hygiene standards.

You will join a technical and international working environment, collaborating with colleagues and customers both in the Netherlands and abroad.

Your Role:

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that machines and installations function properly at customer sites. Your work will include installing and commissioning machines, starting up systems, and troubleshooting technical issues.

You will combine electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related work with customer contact. You will work independently on-site, but you will never be on your own. You will work closely with colleagues, supervisors, and other technical specialists.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

-Installing, starting up, and commissioning machines.
-Reading electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
-Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related issues.
-Making minor adjustments to control systems and programming.
-Checking the quality of work performed.
-Reporting on work carried out and findings.
-Travelling to customers, mainly within Europe.
-Working closely with colleagues and technical specialists.

What Are We Looking For?

-At least 1 year of experience in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics.
-Ability to read technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
-A practical, independent, and solution-oriented approach.
-Strong customer service and communication skills.
-Flexibility and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
-Good command of both Dutch and English.
-Experience with PLCs, refrigeration technology, industrial electrical engineering, or the food processing industry is an advantage.
